Changes to the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement

Dear Amazon Associate,

This email serves to notify you of some changes to the Amazon Services LLC Associates Operating Agreement, https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/agreement, which governs your participation in the Amazon Associates Program across U.S. Amazon sites including amazon.com, endless.com, smallparts.com site, and myhabit.com. All changes are effective February 2, 2012.

One update worth highlighting entails Amazon changing the MyHabit.com attribution session window from 24 hours to 30 days. This longer attribution session window better supports the 72-hour period of time that products are available for sale on a flash sales site, allowing you to gain added benefit by linking to MyHabit.com. There is no change to the attribution session window for other Amazon sites. See the MyHabit FAQs, https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/help/t54 for more information.

Sincerely
The Amazon Associates Team

Important Update (This Affects Your Account, Please Read...)

Dear Fellow Monkee,

First, we would like to apologize for the missing reports
in your Reports section. The SocialMonkee Reports database
leaked and unfortunately our web host (iWeb) was not able
to retrieve the missing data.

We're sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused, and
you can be assured that we're taking the necessary steps
so this doesn't happen again. All reports and feeds of
future submissions will be safe.

Only the past reports are missing. The links are still on
the sites, but the reports are no more. The good news is
that because of this data leak you can now resubmit URLs
you already submitted in the past.

Please note - All current and past URL submissions are
still on the bookmarking sites, it is only the reports you
see that were lost, but your links are still fine. So here
is a chance to submit them a second time...

The second reason why we're emailing you today is to let
you know that we published a new blog post with tips and
tricks to better spin your descriptions, and stay within
the 1,200 characters limit. Click this link to read it now:
