You can make money through the Product Advertising API by advertising Amazon products in conjunction with the Amazon Associates program. Be sure to join the Amazon Associates program to earn up to 15% in referral fees when the users you refer buy qualifying Amazon products.
As a Product Advertising API developer, you will need an Access Key ID and Secret Key to call the API. Obtain your Access Key ID and Secret Key here. Please remember that all calls to the Product Advertising API on or after August 15, 2009 must be authenticated using request signatures. Visit the Product Advertising API home page for additional developer resources.
Finally, please ensure that you use the Product Advertising API solely to advertise Amazon products and drive traffic back to Amazon and that your usage otherwise meets the requirements described in the License Agreement.
